Friends list In game option (and a few other ideas)

Im always either going on the forum and looking at my friends list, or sending random whispers that usually return to me that say the persons not on, just to check if he/she is online; that all takes time. It would be really easy if the was a command for that. For ex.
/showfriends
and then a small window would come up that would show you which of your fourm friends are online and which aren't. Earlier this week, I think Hurri. said something about haveing mass whispers, well you could do that from this box. (or single whispers)
And finally, threre should be game invites. But invites can only be sent to other friends, otherwise noobs would try to provoke anger by sending people a barrage of invites...

I don't really like any of these ideas.
The thing where you had to type a /msg, you could've easily just done /whois (friend's name)
And for the invite idea, isn't that what /msg is for?
All you have to do is /msg (friend's name) (game name)

I say this could be a great idea.

Being abel to send friend request to people, the famous players would get about 20 every 5 seconds, lol.
