what does the artifact do?

im new to the game and i was playing and this thing was in the blue place so what are artifacts and what do they do?

games with artifacts are call assault games.

If you are on the red team your obeject is to destroy it by shooting it.

If you are on the blue team it is your job to defend the aritfact.

the the bottom left coner their is two things.
1. How much time is left in the game. (game ends early if red team destroys artifact.)
2. How much life the artifact still has.

How to win.

If you are on the red team you and your teammates have to destroy the artifact to win.
If you are on the blue tema you have to defend the artifact until time runs out.
