I think that you should be able to whisper a mod in ninja
example you can use first's command suggestion /mods and it shows all the mods and when you go /mods it shows this list
Firstmate(ninja), chickletman(in-game), KillerAtLarge(in-game), EaEaEa(ninja), jake1337(ninja).

And you can just whisper them in ninja so type:
/msgmod Firstmate (message)

Yes.
It's like a little room to themselves along with the moderators and they can speak and kick in rooms without being in them.
