1.) Are you an active member of the Pawn Community, both on the game and the forums?
yes, i post daily and get on the game everyday to go to the chat room, or do a few mazes. I have been here since July of 2007 on an old account. I was introduced into forums a few months afterwards and since then I have been active here. I have never thought about quitting or made a thread about it. I have plenty of posts and they're not "trolling posts". I am very social person on this game and ready to help anyone who needs it. I will stay active as long as I can here on Pawn.
2.) Do you actively help users in the Pawn Community?
yes, being on Tech team i have lots of experience with helping others. Whether its from a pm or a thread, I am ready to help anyone who needs it. I get lots of pm's askin for help with something and even if I do not know the answer, i will "google it up" till i find them a good quality answer. I understand how people want simple, quality, and understandable help from a source they can count on. I want to be a great source of help for anyone who needs it. I know everything about this game including settings and all its features. I am 100% willing to go out of my way to help someone if they need it. Especially in like the chat room where i see lots of "what are credits for?" and "why cant I rank?". I will send them a whisper telling them how to accomplish whatever they need. I also know not to expect them to know what im talking about if i say something like "user cp" and they know nothing what Im talking about. Anyways, my point is that I can help ANYONE who needs it, with any question. I'm prepared.
3.) If part of your job is asked to be kept secret, can you be trusted to do so?
Yes, i have had to keep secrets on this game before... and I know it can sometimes be hard to find someone you can really trust to handle certain information. But you will not have to worry about me. Im a very trustworthy person you can count on.
4.) Will you uphold your obligation to set a good example at all times?
Yes, when I was a "little noob" way back when... there were people i looked up to like ureonmyhitlist and stuff. Setting a good example is something im really looking forward to do. If i handle myself calmly and not swear or flame, i am greatly hoping that people who see me will want to do the same. I understand that sometimes, pawn assistants are greatly respected. (but this does not mean they are not under the control of the mods and administrators.) I like to follow the quote: "be a leader." I know that the things i do will greatly influence other people.
5.) Will you handle yourself in a professional manner, no matter the circumstance?
Yes, i am very self controled and do not over-react easily at all. Like I said in #4, my actions will set a good example for others. And i will do it in a kind way, so that the people i help will not feel like they are getting flamed by someone if i just yell at them. Know what I mean?
6.) Are you willing to give up playing time to help users?
yes, i do this quite often. Like I said, in the chat room adn im in a conversation, I will still take time to help anyone. Even if itsd someone im not too particularily fond of. I think its a satisfying thing when you help someone and i get a "thank you". Its just an awesome feeling to me. I can be found in mIRC or on MSN if you need to contact me. Or by email. Either way, you will get a quick, and solid reply with good information.
7.) How old are you? (Don't lie)
I am currently 14.5 years old, soon to be 15
8.) Do you understand what your duty as a Pawn Assistant entails?
Yes, I understand that I must help other people, set up events, stay very active, contribute to the game, be active in the private members discussion, and make sure that the rules are followed correctly. I know now that the PA's have more responsibilities. I will not at all abuse these powers.
9.) Why are you interested in becoming a Pawn Assistant?
As I said before, i am 100% willing to help anyone who needs it. I will not be grumpy and just blow people off. I have seen this game grow for over a year and a half now and I feel that the time is right for me to contribute more to this site. I can help with any subject of questions whether tech, map making, the game, or anythign else in general. I love this game, it seems a little more than "just an online flash game." I would really like to contribute. [side note:] i dislike e-drama. I was previously a PA but was removed for some reason. I hope you understand my situation. You may not think I'm PA material but I am. I was sick for a while and that's why I wasn't active for a little while last week.
10.) Do you submit yourself to this user group and all its rules, understanding that breaking said rules will result in being banned for an undetermined amount of time? (Have to scare the noobs away. :] )
Yes, i completely understand what will happen to me if i break the rules. I completely submit myself to this group, i know what im getting into and ive thought about it well
I feel that I deserve to be Pawn Assistant. I hope you understand my situation.
