Different languages in chat!!

I'm really fed up with not being alllowed to speak in another language in forum. They have tomake a seperate chat. Why? This is basically racism. Not literally but on the same lines and just because pawn is an American game, doesn't mean you have to speak English. Please I don't like seeing people getting banned for saying a word in another language.

Finally what if someone doesn't understands English, makes an account, speaks in forum in another language and the mid bans him/her for failure to co opperate.how are they supposed to understand?!?!

Look this was made for people that speak English.
It is a pawn rule so if you don't like it, you should go ahead and leave.
The point is if you speak any other language other than English in the main chat, you will be banned/kicked and thats final.
If you want to speak a different language, make your own chat.

I totally understand the OP's arguement about not being able to speak your own languages, but most of our users mainly speak english and wouldn't likely understand someone insulting them in a foreign language for the lulz.

The easiest way to avoid any confusion is to keep the chat in english as much as possible, with the exception of a few people creating their own room in which they would be able to speak their own language in.

You're absolutely right. People should be able to speak their own language with no consequence, but there is always that one immature kid that thinks he's the **** when he starts flaming others in his own language without getting in trouble.

It's not fair at all, but realistically, it's the only thing that we can do to keep most of our users in line.

Yeh but the majority are just players who live in the U.S or Europe. If it was international then the chatroom would be way different then right now if you know what I mean...

Racism is the belief that one race is better than another. Banning a language is not, because you're not saying that one race is better than another. Many people of different races speak English, so you've got to be kidding me when you say it's racist.

Also, you've obviously never read the rules. Other languages are only banned in the main chat. The forums and other chatrooms and games are free grounds for speaking another language. I do agree that you have a point. We should make it clear to non-English speakers they can't speak their Native tongue in the main chat.

Well, I'm sorry that we don't allow you to speak another language in the main Chat. However, you can speak whatever language you would like in a private message, or in another chatroom/gameroom. But, do not speak another language in the main Chat. Why? We do this mostly because we can't speak EVERY language on this planet, and when someone speaks in a language we don't know of or cannot translate, we might give infractions for Spam, but we didn't know it was another language. Another thing that might happen is that they are flaming other users in this language they're speaking and we don't know what it is.. I mean.. we don't have a translating dictionary on our laps to go ahead and tell them to stop, so we simplified it all by telling them not to use another language for precautions.

Also, creating a chatroom is easy, not long non-harmful and you pay nothing.

The majority of the players speak English, and if you were allowed to speak another language in the public chat, we'd have no idea what the hell you were saying, and it would cause chaos. If we can't read it, we don't know what you're saying. You could be doing any number of things; having a normal conversation, planning an act of terrorism, or even swearing. You never know. All we ask is that you keep your foreign languages restricted to your own chats. This rule will not be modified or removed, and must be followed. It is not racism, and if you believe it is, that is you're own fault, because languages aren't races.
