Ok, the question here is, which of these do you define "camping" as?

A) Hiding, in boxes or open space, where there are multiple places people could come from. (IE: the top part of the center of castle war)

or

B)Standing and aiming directly at the head for the only place someone could come in (or at spawn) without moving. (IE: constantly shooting at head area of a spawn)

Choose only one.

But what I'm getting at here is the fact that I know spawn camping and stuff like that is bad, but is it really terrible when people have multiple ways to get past? (Like in castle war)

Spawn camping is also known as spawn killing and to be honest they are both camping just different forms of it. Option B id the spawn killing and Option A if the camping. But in a way they are both forms of camping.

Ok then, there are just two things i don't understand:
1: How is it just a strategy when there is no possible way to avoid it when its considered camping to basically be a sniper?

2: So even though ↑ may be correct, why is camping hated and the (no offense) more "noobish" way, spawn camping, not considered camping?

Both of them are camping. However, I tolerate the 2nd one better because sometimes the base of the opposing team is filled with campers and it is suicide to go in.

They are both correct. People hide in boxes and camp people camp by just standing somwhere. You can't really answer that because they are both correct.

Ok thanks for clearing this up guys. One final question:
If you were to choose which one annoys YOU when its done to YOU the most, which would you pick, someone camping a singular are with no other place to pass through (Like spawn camping) OR someone camping in an area where there are many areas you can get by (As usual like castle war, or even arena)

-No such thing as camping in Assault games. They have to defend the artifact obviously.

-Camping (my opinion) Is standing right outside a users base and constantly shooting and aiming at one spot at the map which hits the user directly in the head even if he's crouched or normally walking and no one can get behind the camper. If you can get behind him then it really isn't camping. Most reasons why people 1on1 on 1width 1Lenght maps that prevent newbs from doing that. Shooting at your opponents spawn point isn't really camping. Because you can get around or next to your opponent easily if your not lagging, because of the spawn, waiting time. Hiding in boxes is consider camping because you can't see your opponent nor get behind them unless on top of them. Some camping spots are the best and you wont never die in a match. :D But I'm not telling you where O_o. Most of you probably know the Castle Wars one.

-Other than that, camping is really easy to get around, if they don't actually know how to do it. *Screenpopping *ect.

Camping is a significant part of the game, but it just gets annoying when people constantly camp, even after the area they were in is clear. If you need to camp to get rid of the enemy in a certain spot, then it's fine, but you should go seek them out after that.

Anyways, both options are used, but each option applies to different maps. In castle wars, it means option a), but in a map like arena, both options apply, depending on what the person is doing.

There is an easy solution to those types of campers that just shoot into the screen hop point, enter the screen with a *jump.

option B, if your going to camp, at least go for the must hardest camping style to beat.....
