Alright, so this thread is going to be dedicated to me informing you of all the updates and changes I make on the forums and throughout the community. There will most likely be really frequent changes, so to make it so that I don't have to make a new thread every time, and so that i can give you guys all the information I want you to have, it will all be posted here.

First of all, let me take this moment to thank all of you for your kind words and thoughts. I am truly honored to serve you as an Administrator. For all of you that have your doubts about my effectiveness, I simply ask that you give me a chance. Let me give you a little bit of background around why I was promoted to the position of administrator. Contrary to popular belief, I have no access whatsoever to edit the game, nor do i want it. Blank's intention behind promoting me was to get all of the community issues off of his back and allow him to focus more of his time on editing the game. So, if you have ideas about the game, while I will be able to pass them on to Blank, I won't be able to directly doing anything about them. I am the community admin. I"m basically in charge of anything that doesn't have to do directly with the game.

Now, with that being said, there are still plenty of changes to be made on the community side, and ideas that I think will really spur some life in the community.

With that being said, let me tell you everything that you can depend on me for.
1. If you have any issues with moderators, please, bring them to me. Provide me with as much information as you have and I will work to resolve the situation. Moderator issues will be dealt with as the administration sees fit.
2. If you have suggestions for the forums/community feel free to let me know. I want to be able to use more of your ideas, because it is what will ultimately help make this community more enjoyable.
3. If your account has been stolen, let me know. There's a system I can use to check if you are the legitimate owner or not, and if I find that you are, I will get your account back for you.
4. If you have been the victim of a credit or account scam, tell me immediately. I have full access to get you your credits back and resolve these situations, all you have to do is let me know.
5. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to direct them my way.

Now let's get to the part you really want to read, changes I've made, or changes I plan to make. Take note that some of these ideas may take longer than others, and some of my ideas may not ever happen. With that in mind, here it goes.

Changes:
1. The rules have been updated. Rules 14-18 are where most of the changes occurred. Be sure and read the updated rules, which you can find at: http://pawngame.com/forum/announcement.php?f=4
2. We installed a proxy blocker on the forums. We decided it was time to beef up security, and that's what this tool allows us to do. If you find that you are unable to access the forums, be sure that you have javascript enabled.
3. We added a forum for Music/Entertainment as promised.
4. We added 3 new graphics sub-forums as requested by Beanmiester.
5. We split the Suggestions forum into three sections, 1 for forum suggestions, 1 for the game suggestions, and 1 for bugs. We also sorted every thread into their appropriate sub-forum. From now on, all idea should be posted in their appropriate sub-forum, and the best ideas will be put in the main forums for Blank101 to see. All important info that pertains to the suggestions forum will also be put in the main forum.
6. We gave all usergroups limited moderator powers in their respective public sections of the forum, as promised.
7. We installed a new add-on that will prevent accidental/intentional double posts.
8. We increased the size of member's and moderator's pm box.
9. We tweaked the usergroup powers just a bit.
10. We added a Map Contest sub-forum to the Map Making section.
11. The ban systems were separated, and all forum bans were removed. Accounts with under 80 posts were deleted, and all other accounts were simply unbanned.
12. The forums for PG and PT were merged.
13. Game guides were removed from the site and the forums.

Future Ideas:
1. I want to change the smileys on the forums. They aren't cool enough for me.
2. Go through the old stickies.
3. Split the Clans section.
4. Make a few changes to the usergroups. Create a few more.

There is surely more to come, and especially after the next game update comes through, I think we can start seeing some new life.

Lastly, if you guys happen to be in contact with any old beta players that quit because this game needed changes, can you invite them back for me. :) Thanks.

That would be nice. Not hard to do and it would help you a lot.

Music sections always fail. If you wanna see a section fail then go ahead. There will just be 80 of the same thread. :)

3. I want to add a separate section the forums for credits. I think we need a place where people can start selling goods and services. This would allow users to be creative and have some fun with credits.
Don't we already do that all around the forum? Not sure how useful that forum would be.

4. I want to give the usergroups some power. I don't know exactly what this will mean right now, but hopefully they'll be able to do something more on the forums.

But white pixelated background? Are you like using IE? Cause on my screen the smileys have no bg. They are just circles.

the new rules rock, now that ban evasion and padding are up there. and the fact that people can try to get their accounts back is totally awesome :D if you add new smilies though, can we also keep the old ones? i use some of them rather frequently D:

I'm the old beta player. And this game needs a crap load of changes that "Sharpy" needs to fulfill :)

I suggest you look at the suggestions section, there are pretty retarded and pretty decent ideas in there that could/should be added to forum and game.

Oh and btw, when you split the suggestions section into the two parts. Are you going to move all the forum suggestions to one SubForum or vice versa. And like name it "Forum suggestions/bugs" and "Game suggestions/bugs", or what, have another subforum for just bugs?

Rule
17. Ban Evasion is not allowed. If your account is banned for having a bad name, you may create a new account. Ban Evasion for any other reason is not allowed, and users found ban evading will have their ban extended.
Some users have accounts banned for past months and longer. Bringing up old Bans on previous accounts is allowed? Or is it the present day that this rule was established, that the other user's account that may have been permanently banned before this this rule pretty much doesn't apply to them.
18. Account/Credit Scamming is illegal. Please report any potential scams to SharpY
Can you elaborate on scams? I see the self explanatory explanation but...Do you need proof. Like word proof as in, Screenshot of someone saying they will give there credits back to someone but they didn't...Could be taken wrong ways. How will you handle it? *Note i know about the making credits more useful suggtn. you made.

This might be a little off topic, but credits should be able to take time of bans... i.e. 100 credits removes 1 hour off a ban

just give it a thought

I was a beta player, I think. It was a long time ago since I played though. I came back in december 2008.

It was the end of beta when I left, when i came back there where destructable blocks, it was fun, pawn game it getting better but maybe there could actually have diferrent
game modes like, hide and seek, catch the flag, maybe one for mazes so people dont kill other people. One could be 1 person hides with 3000 health from all the others, you have to kill that person to hide.

The rest of the stuff dosen't seem like its gonna happen. Most of it really in my opinion. But We will see.

Being able to report moderators who we think are power abusing is a great idea, I trust this system will function much like reporting regular users?

We do need some sort of music forum, after all, music isn't necessarily general discussion anymore, since Pawn Radio came out.

All in all these are pretty awesome changes :)

Would you consider yourself better or equal to other mods now?
Just wondering, cause their opinion counts as well. You should always pass things through the admins (obviously) and as well as the moderators, cause whatever new update. Could cause problems as well. If there were to be problems, people would complain to moderators. And such, isn't fun?

Another thing, watch what you say, how you say it, and whom you say it to.
Cause people will be on your arse for everything you do,and everything you don't do. Now that your admin, and even in your post stated people not believing in you, they're looking for a change to screw you over.

Anyways, congrats on the admin thingy, hope you get to change the community around a bit. And I would like to see the user groups have a bit of power on the forums, when I first joined the PAs, I thought it was going to be more for the forums and less for the game, instead it was a reverse. >.<

That's not neccessarily mod abuse because she kicked you for telling a password, although it was fake you're not allowed to give information about your account even if it's fake.

Why must they only PM you for any scam attempts? Normal moderators can attend to those, not only you. :)

By the way.. For the editing in the moderator rule.. What if it is unjust and everyone else gets to see that its unjust before you? Can we deal with the problem, ma'am?

I suppose you can ban the users, but I have access to overturn credit donations and such, so it's easier for me to get them their credits back.

If it's unjust, you can't really do much, since mods aren't supposed to overturn each others infractions or bans...

I think that giving the user groups more power may lead to some problems. But like bean said, if you only give certain people powers, rather then a whole user group, and only people whom they would think would do a good job, and not abuse said powers, whatever they may be, would be a better choice idea wise.

i'll assume you havent got the sugestion split idea finished yet, so i'll just throw a fiew out here if it;s alright whith you.

game:
-new wepons (i'll try to speak for evryone when i say nades are a nesesity)
-destructible objects (safe... i think not!)
-friends/rivals list (or a clan system, what's better than pwning evrybody whith our friends??? doing to a rival clan!)
-customisable wepons (boom... bigger boom!)
-re do the ranks to mimic the army rank structure (unless there's a unknown reson for them being what they are)

Nades create more lag, and there will be nade nubs.Your stupd, live with it.

We have a friends list in the forum, just remember who you like ingame.

custom weapons for weapons you dont start off with?-dumb
They are US Marines ranks, not airforce,or army. Nor for any other country. Deal with it.

Let me give you a little bit of background around why I was promoted to the position of administrator. Contrary to popular belief, I have no access whatsoever to edit the game, nor do i want it. Blank's intention behind promoting me was to get all of the community issues off of his back and allow him to focus more of his time on editing the game. So, if you have ideas about the game, while I will be able to pass them on to Blank, I won't be able to directly doing anything about them. I am the community admin. I"m basically in charge of anything that doesn't have to do directly with the game.

Now, with that being said, there are still plenty of changes to be made on the community side, and ideas that I think will really spur some life in the community.

With that being said, let me tell you everything that you can depend on me for.
1. If you have any issues with moderators, please, bring them to me. Provide me with as much information as you have and I will work to resolve the situation. Moderator issues will be dealt with as the administration sees fit.
2. If you have suggestions for the forums/community feel free to let me know. I want to be able to use more of your ideas, because it is what will ultimately help make this community more enjoyable.
3. If your account has been stolen, let me know. There's a system I can use to check if you are the legitimate owner or not, and if I find that you are, I will get your account back for you.
4. If you have been the victim of a credit or account scam, tell me immediately. I have full access to get you your credits back and resolve these situations, all you have to do is let me know.
5. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to direct them my way.

Now let's get to the part you really want to read, changes I've made, or changes I plan to make. Take note that some of these ideas may take longer than others, and some of my ideas may not ever happen. With that in mind, here it goes.

All important info that pertains to the suggestions forum will also be put in the main forum.

Future Ideas:
1. I want to add a separate section the forums for credits. I think we need a place where people can start selling goods and services. This would allow users to be creative and have some fun with credits.
