Only 1 client allowed per computer

when i load the pawngame play page, i recieve the following message:

only one client is allowed per server

this has not occurred in the past, and i am not trying to use multiple clients


i have checked to make sure that i am not running any underlying internet connection, and there is definately no chance of that




this problem is not present on my other computer,

but it is too old to support pawngame for more than a stretch of 10 minutes





any possible information i can provide to help solve this problem, i will readily volunteer

a hasty reply would be preferred

Okay guys, I look at the Help topics and I see two in a row with the title "Only 1 Client Per Computer" and there's probably more with new posts in them. If you see a topic with the same problem as you, don't make another topic about it. It's excessively annoying.

Now, this problem was almost surely caused because you logged out of the game by clicking the X on your browser rather than clicking the "Quit" box in the game itself. The way to remedy this is to go to your Task Manager (ctrl+alt+delete), go to Processes and check to see if your browser is up there in any spot where it shouldn't (if you see it more than once get rid of the extra ones). Then try it. If that doesn't work, then restart your computer.

It means that only 1 person of the same computer can login to PAWNGAME at the same time. This is so you simply can't make 2 accounts, log on 2 different windows and kill one of your accounts over and over to get free points. This used to be known as padding but has been dealt with by Blank101. Hope i answered your question :)

Yah.. it goes by the information in your ISP i am guessing then. Because you have the same router, and both computers are connected to it.. it's using the exact same internet connection. You won't be able to play together unfortunately.

you could have 2 completely different computers, but if they're hooked up to the same router.. then nope.. it'll say that it's the same computer. The reason that it doesn't allow more than one client is because people will then bring on another account, and kill it to get more points and a higher score. everyone will then be the highest.. Lol

the next update may allow more than one computer off the same internet. you could post that in the Suggestions box :)

You can only have one Log in Screen open at any time. If you're positive that you don't then do the follwing:

1) Clear your cache. (History, Cookies, Passwords, etc.)
If you have Firefox and want to clear your cache go to Tools -> Clear Private Data. Check all the boxes.
On Internet Explorer go to Tools -> Internet Options. Then click on Delete under history.

2) Refresh your Pawn Log in Page.

I would like to point out that downloading an antiviral program when you have a virus is utterly pointless. The virus corrupts the recently downloaded antiviral program making it irremovable.

You could have spyare and someone has been checking your websites such as your parents or something. The ways to know if you have spyware:

No, if you have two you can get on on both computers...
TASK MANAGER
Then find Internet Explorer or firefox.
double clcik it, and it will close.
Shouldwork then.
Access the Task Manager by pressing Alt+Ctrl+Del.
Select the Applications tab.
Check if you see two Firefox/Internet Explorer applications running at the same time.
Right click on one of them, and click End Task.

EDIT:
Also maybe check under the "Processes" tab for two IEXPORE.exe, or two FIREFOX.exe
Right click on one of them, and click End Task.

Reload PawnGame, if the error still persists, close all windows and tabs. Then try again.
