Here are some tips to have a successful tournament:
1.) Make sure to pm a tournament director to help host your tournament. So they can take screen shots and try to make the tournament successful. If you don't there's a good chance that you'll have a unsuccessful tournament.
2.) Make sure to have rules that everyone understands. Here are some rules you can use in your tournament:
1337 rules: You are not allowed to use P90,UMP,or SG. Also, there is no camping. So the maps I would choose for this will be Castle war,Jungle Assault, and King of the Box. Just choose maps that don't have any camping spots because they will be tempted to camp and the tournament will be unsuccessful.
P90 and SG rule: This rule is very simple. You cannot use P90 or SG. Anything else goes during the game. So camping is allowed. I would choose Castle war and Sneek
Anything goes: You can camp and use any weapon. I would be careful if you make this rule. Don't pick maps such as Arena and Center Conflict. The people will camp a lot. Just pick a simple map like King of the Box and Castle War.
I would recommend Castle war for everything. It's a good map to use.

3.) Now I will explain how many people per team should be in each map:
Lights Out: 1-3 people per team. Four or five people will be too much lag and not enough room.
Under: 1-3 people per team. Four or five people will be too much lag and not enough room.
Jungle Assault: 1-4 people per team. Five people can cause more lag than four people
Castle war: 2-5 people per team. It won't be any fun with a 1 on 1, pretty much boring and camping will be involved.
quick draw: 1-3 people per team. Four or five people will be too much lag and not enough room.
Abyss: 4-5 per team. Has a lot of space to play in.
Area 51: 5 people per team. It's a huge map and will make tournament better.
Arena: 4-5 people per team. This map has a lot of camping spots and it has room to play in. I wouldn't choose this map in a tournament. There will be too much camping.
Attack94: 4-5 people per team. This map has some camping spots and it has room to play in.
BattleFront: 3-5 people per team. It's easy to move around and not that much camping.
Beast: 3-4 people per team. Not that much camping. I would watch out for ladder campers. You need to be good with ladders to own in Beast.
Nightingale: 3-4 people per team. There is some camping spots. I would watch out for ladder campers too.
Center Conflict: 3-4 people per team. I don't really like Center Conflict that much. There's not that much space and people will camp at their spawn point.
Chill Factor: 3-4 people per team. This map isn't that bad. There's enough room to move around and not that much camping.
Cold Front: 3-5 people per team. This map has good space and might be camping at their spawn point.
Wars Playground: 5 people per team. It's a huge map and might be ladder campers.
Warehouse: 3-4 people per team. There's some camping spots and not that much room to play in.
Underwater Mayhem: 1-3 people per team. It's a small map. There's not that much room, but there's no camping spots.
Sneek: 3-4 people per team. There might be ladder campers. It's a great map for a tournament though. There's room and a good size to play in.
Aerial Ace: 3-4 per team. The map can cause camping at their bases. The middle it will just be a ladder fight. Probably the same thing with top left and right. This would be a ok one for tourneys. I wouldn't recommended it though.
Aquatic Discord: 2-4 per team. The map is just gonna be a spawn killing fight. Not really enough room in each section to do anything, but ladder climb. Not a good map for a tourney.
Floating Forest: 2-3 per team. This map isn't really that bad for a tourney. The bad thing is you can't get over the other spawns side. So the person that just spawn can just use the ladder and kill there guy. Middle the block and the log is in the way of shooting. You have to have good accuracy for this map. This is like a average map to use.
Battle 64: 3 per team. I think this map will be perfect for 3 on 3. There's enough room and ladder fighting will take place a lot. Also, a lot of screen movement. There will probably be a lot of action in this map. The bad side is there can be some ladder camping or spawn killing. That's a thing you have to watch out for in this map.
Freezing Below: 3-4 per team. I think this map isn't that great for a tourney. I really don't like the space in the map. Lots of things blocking the opponent from you hitting him. I just don't like the things that are set up. This map won't be good for a tourney.
If you hate campers don't pick the maps that i mention that have campers in them. Also,if you choose a camping map don't add P90,UMP,and SG.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.) I would make a big tournament if your popular and have experience. For a small tournament I would recommend people that are not well-known for pawn and don't have any experience in tournaments. I hope your tournaments will be successful and feel free to pm me for help or any other tournament directors.
5.) If you want lots of people to come make a prize. The better the prize the more chances the people will join your tournament. Just make a sig. If you don't know how to make one ask anyone that knows how to make a sig. They'll make one for you, don't beg or be mean to them or they won't make you one.
6.) Remind people about the time by pm people that are in your tournament. Tell them your timezone, day of tournament, and what time will the tournament start. Make sure they'll show up. Also, let the people choose the time and maybe have a vote. So the tournament will have a good chance for all people to show up.
7. The credits are a big thing in tournaments. The higher the credits the greater chance people will join. If you are given credits as prizes make sure you have the amount and make sure to give the winner the credits. This will give you rep for tournaments and if you make another people will know you can host a tournament well.
I made this thread cause I made it a while ago and never really got any advice. So I made it here to try and get a sticky out of it. I also made it here to get some advice to make my guide better. Please don't flame and try and help by making my guide even more successful. Thank you for looking over this. Hope you Enjoy! :D
