Since im sick of seeing all these threads about the server being down im making one that is the base thread. if the server is ever down please come here and talk about it. but most of the time if you press refresh then it works. so please NO MORE SERVER DOWN THREADS

More servers = more mods. and we are short in the number of mods that are even online. We need about 20 (in my opinion) more mods before the admins can start thinking about making more servers.

Logging into pawn is really starting to tick me off. Ever since blank left its been getting worse and worse. It took me 30 mins to get in and when I went to test out a custom map the game shut down. Now I cant get back in. R#$%#$% #%%#Q %

All right, the Server just went down for me too. I don't know what's up with it, but it seems to be fixing itself every once in awhile.

So what I'm going to do is Sticky and Close this, so the "OMG Y TEH SERVER DOWN??" posts will stop.

Do NOT make any other threads of this nature. If you have any concerns just PM me, but if you just send me a PM saying "OMG Y TEH SERVER DOWN????" I will completely ignore it, or give you an infraction depending on my mood.

I'll keep this thread stickied until an Administrator (or a more well-informed moderator) tells me what's going on.

Currently, I don't know how to "fix" it, other than waiting for it to come back online. You can try clearing cache and all the normal stuff, but none of that seems to be working.

They are probably working on removing the quick play function right now that would be the only way to stop those spammers right? that could take some time though.

I agree with FoxBox. Earlier the Guests pretty much just ****ed up Pawn.... and my computer. They all hacked and flooded into the lobby. Then they insulted Lord SketchZ! My computer crashed like ten times! My guess is that the guests are a group of low-life morons. Or that "they" are actually one m**o who hacked the game and made it possible for hundreds of his copies to be online. Hell, they could all be bots! One things for sure, the Guests are responsible for this!

That is true. But, that is actually high-level hacking... First off, it'd take a long time to hack so many computers giving enough potential to cause the server to shut down. Secondly, most of the time, it's a bunch of people who all hack at the same time and flood the server by trying to get on at the same time, causing MASSIVE lag and eventually freezing the server. Such an attack is used a lot in gambling sites and other places. Most of the time, the hackers do it for money. In this case, I doubt anyone would try pulling something like this off...

... hmmm.... Attack in groups and hope that everyone can lower the person's health while the person kills everyone. Hopefully, you will be farthest away and will have enough time to get the last shot in to kill the person. That's my suggestion. Not the best, but a strategic one at that.

hmm... try camping ambushes with your team, dont stay in one spot, and if you have a shotgun, aim for the middle of there bodies ^^

Don't forget to make every one spread out.
