Currently I have a Microsoft mouse (laser cordless) which works fine in terms of comfort, precision, etc...
The only problem is that it acts crazy. Sometimes while playing a game I would move the mouse and it would not move. But when I moved it some more, it flew straight across half the screen.
I'm not asking for advice on how to fix it. I'm asking for a new mouse, and don't suggest Logitech. I've blew $300 on crappy Logitech mouses that last about only 6 months each.

2008 Gaming Mouses Of The Year xD
Does show 4 'super mouses' on top if you wanna pay whatever redonkulos price they are.
I would say just go to best buy and ask a guy "hey whats a good mouse" and take whatever. It's just a mouse, how bad can it be. You must of dropped yours at some time or something.

As far as inputs go, it’s hard to get much more fundamental than the mouse and, as far as gaming devices go, it’s hard to get much more important.
They proclaim the fact on the back of the boxes and in all the hype and press releases and we all roll our eyes and pretend not to be so stupid as to fall for these marketing ploys…but it’s true. A good mouse will last you for years and afford you a Zen like level of comfort that allows you to take your gaming to the next level.
And a bad mouse? Well, using a bad mouse is like playing a Counterstrike clan match on a Commodore 64 with a brick for a mouse and a soggy cake for a keyboard. And no hands.
Just what constitutes a good gaming mouse is something that’s pretty hard to define, and there are loads of companies out there which have tried to perfect the formula and create The Ultimate Peripheral.

Anything over about 4000 dpi is overkill, it's way too sensitive.
so turn down sensitivity?

You'd be wasting all the DPI you paid for.
Why pay for a 4000 dpi mouse if your playing at 3200 lol?
And what about all the other awesome parts of the mouse?

Any HP optical mouse.
I have one...
It fails. I only use it when my main mouse is out of power.

No, The Gaming Mouse I Posted is probably one of the best. Or DaMan's. They are the options. But o guees Rubix is right in a way. I doubt that someone wants to spend Like $80 on a Mouse.
