Strelok, Vista doesnt blow, just get SP1, no problems

Vista is way slower, has bad interferance, crappy colors (But that doesn't really matter),starts up slower, has more viruses, plays like crap on games, isn't good for games, its more annoying than XP (Always have to press "continue" and stuff),etc, etc, etc.

Vista is way slower
6 GB of DDR3 RAM is plenty to run it seamlessly and still have enough for even crysis
has bad interferance
It has a good looking interface, and its worked very well for me
crappy colors (But that doesn't really matter)
starts up slower
My pooter boots up in about a minute
has more viruses
Get a good anitvirus nub
plays like crap on games
Vista runs games just as well as XP.
isn't good for games
Look above
its more annoying than XP (Always have to press "continue" and stuff)
It takes like 10 secs to disable UAC
,etc,etc,etc.

Wait did I said "Has more viruses"? Sorry,I said something about XP.

Besides SP1 won't fix everything, all it did is make less crashes and a faster internet. Well those are just 2 major changes, the small changes are like invisible.

Also,on 2005 I saw lots of people using XP even if Vista was released long time ago. When Vista was released; "OMFG VEZTAH ARZ GEY KOLARZ IMMA USEH XP EQUEIN!!!" and when Windows 7 Beta was made; "WTF LOLZ ITZ GEI I R US VISTA...OR WUZIT XP? WUTAVORZ LOLZ!"

And I already can get a better antivirus,Nod32/Kaspersky/Spyware Doctor :)

But really, lets quit this bullcrap. Besides talking about Macs...

specs:

Intel i7 Extreme 3.2 Ghz + Heatsink (OC TO 4.4)With water cooling this could go to 5.5
Thermaltake Kandalf LCS ATX Case W/built in water cooling
Aeneon Xtune 3x2gb DDR3 RAM6 gigs? why not 20?
2X Seagate barracuda 1.5 TB 7200RPM Hard drivesJust cuase they're big doesn't mean they're good. Get like 5 256 SSD and THEN it will be nice.
Logitech G11 Gaming keyboardG15 is better
Samsung Syncmaster 24 Inch Widescreen W/HDMI monitor 24 inch? how about 32
Logitech MX Revolution Laser mouse W/ Razer Destructor mouse pad
XFX Nforce 790i Ultra Not compatible with an i7
WIndows Vista Ultimate 64-bit Failure.
Supermicro Superblade 2 Kilowatt power supply 2 kw lol.
Creative Sound Blaster X-FI Elite Pro sound card
3X EVGA E-GEFORCE GTX 280 greffix cards (They have SLI so they should work together to give 3gb of greffix memeorys) Quad GTX-295s pwns that

Just buy the same package or get 8 gig sticks.

Most i7 boards have 6 ram slots, the one you picked out, wasn't even an i7 board.

I went on that site and found several top of the line i7 motherboards.

just look for socket 1366 boards

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_much_does_a_supercomputer_cost

Q: How much does a supercomputer cost?

A: Well the price obviously varries from each super computer. But for just the hardware you could find maybe at the cheapest $400,000,000

You're $399,992,000 shy of getting the cheapest most powerful computer ever.

But does it fix the tacky interface, annoying UAC that is annoying as hell but is the #1 security available, and does it add Telnet?

^^Biggest fail of Vista.

I am a batch poweruser - I love shellscripts. So when Vista took out Telnet I immediately hated it. All of the MUDS I logged on every now and then were now unaccessable, I couldn't watch star wars, it was horrible.
