The whole reason why it works in America was because we were the rebel Brits who gave the finger to Britain and created our own system. You have to strive for democracy. Fight tooth and nail for it. Yeah, it's true you can't force democracy on a country like that. There are too many classic examples of countries we've democratized that ended up with another brute dictator doing the same things. (I'll be honest, I was never really for the war to begin with >.>)

What's important now is making a decision on what to do now that we've spent so much time there.

I really don't know how long we'll be in Iraq. I know that its impossible to pull an army out of a country you invaded just on a whim. And I definitely know that it can't be done within Obama's term. But iduno, now there is more reason and need to stay since Obama closed Guantanimo Bay and let all the terrorists there go free.

He means that its obvious that hes lying. I'm not saying that I do or do not believe that hes really going the Iraq, but someone who was really going to get deported to war isn't going to act like that (trying to point it out to people).

Yeah I understand what you are saying, but people are different. We all are going to have different reactions to being sent to war. We aren't all going to show that we are worried. People hide it. Some people act all pumped and ready to go, some people wont talk much, some wont eat, some people may show no emotions to it at all, so you cannot say someone is not doing something because of how they act.

2 years until the military is out. My lifetime until the last advisor is out. We'll probably be spilling dollars into that hellhole for a long time to come.
